The Standard Boss is a vehicle inspection-compliant product that meets vehicle inspection standards.

In the automotive parts industry today, deregulation is promoting greater liberalization. At the same time, vehicle safety is increasingly considered the consumer's responsibility, requiring consumers to have the judgment to select reliable products. Making an informed choice among the wide range of products on the market is no easy task. Amidst this growing liberalization, WORKS BELL has deliberately made the Boss a vehicle inspection-compliant product. To ensure reliable quality, we have defined the design of the Boss by fully utilizing our accumulated data and expertise in areas such as strength and safety.

Examples include the precision and shape of the screws and screw holes used to securely fix the steering wheel, the evaluation of potential secondary injuries caused by a driver forcefully striking the steering wheel in the event of an accident, and the selection of long-lasting materials that withstand metal corrosion and fatigue.

Rather than redesigning the product to comply with deregulation, we apply our conventional technology even to products for new vehicle models and have established self-imposed regulations to ensure they "comply with vehicle inspection standards."

In the history of steering bosses, WORKS BELL is the pioneer of the 12-hole Boss that first enabled the common use of the MOMO pitch (70 mm) and NARDI pitch (74 mm) (patent application filed in 1977).
